The Nepal earthquake has taken the lives of many and shocked the world, but in the midst of the devastation, one bit of good news has emerged. Well, you’d call this a miracle.
A 101-year-old man has been rescued from the wreckage in Sindhupalchowk, along with three women, and given it was one of the worst hit areas, the news is as surprising as it is welcome. Especially when it happened a whole week after the devastating natural disaster.
Funchu Tamang was amazingly pulled from the rubble with only minor injuries and after a week spent lost while rescuers worked, that is simply heart-warming news and a tiny piece of positivity that can be taken from a horrendous event that has killed thousands and left an even greater number without homes.
With that said, our thoughts go out to all those who weren’t as lucky, and have lost their loved ones.
