After months of cryptic messages on social media from Tony Hawk himself, Activision and developers Robomodo and Didsruptive Games have officially announced Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.
Pro Skater is considered by many as the better lineage of Tony Hawk games, so the new release will mark the return of classic, skill-based gameplay.
The initial talk is that it will be out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later in the year. We’re guessing around Autumn, but don’t hold us to that.
Pro Skater 5 will feature a new set of levels jam packed with objectives and side missions you can both complete on your own or with your friends online via online co-op or competitive play.
But if you’re like me, and just want to have a skating session with your friends, you can. The online version of the game is said to be rich and fulfilling, which will be a new experience for loyal TH fans.
Along with Tony Hawk himself, you can expect to shred with the likes of Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni, and Andrew Reynolds.
