With the general election on its way, politics is everywhere, and everybody is getting involved. Including Al Murray.
He has turned a fire engine into a pub. Obviously.
Launching his election campaign in Margate, Kent, as his character the Pub Landlord, Al Murray pulled pints at the side of the road for his constituents.
His political party is the Free United Kingdom Party… FUKP. And he will be challenging UKIP Leader Nigel Farage in South Thanet. Brilliant.
This could get interesting!
The pub landlord said:
This is the most important general election since the last one. There is a state of national emergency. I wanted to emphasise that with a fire engine – a fire engine that pours beer.
We’ve got all these politicians who make a load of promises and then don’t keep them. I’m honest that I won’t keep them in the first place.Advertisement
I can’t wait to see how this unfolds over the next few weeks!
