You might have seen our story about actor Mickey Rourke winning his first boxing match in 20 years. Well allegations are being made that his opponent was paid to lose.

Elliot Seymour, the man who lost and is 33 years younger than Rourke was apparently paid to fly to Moscow in order to make Rourke look good. Seymour is meant to have trained at the same Hollywood gym as Rourke but is now homeless after his career as a boxer took a wrong turn. He had lost 9-1 of his 10 previous professional bouts.

The allegations of being paid off come from a source close to the Seymour family who also said that the former boxer had been living on the streets for 18 months. Before sleeping rough, Seymour was living with his mother but they apparently fell out over his career.

There’s some posts on his Facebook page that talk about being homeless. When he’s not on the street he spends a lot of time in his local Starbucks.

He also enjoys taking pictures of flowers, and writing drivel in a 10 year-old’s handwriting. His page is pretty weird to be honest.
