Super fit winner of Miss Universe England, Amy Willerton, has undergone a £600 fat-freezing treatment to tone her thighs after Twitter trolls abused her.
Amy stuck to a carb filled diet whilst training for the London Marathon, which led her to put on a bit of weight. Although still slim and healthy, she has now decided that it’s time to lose some weight in order to look good for her 2015 calendar shoot.
Her weight gain was noticed after a shoot she did for the Chelsea Flower Show in May. In the photos, Amy’s sporting a skimpy bikini and long blonde hair extensions.
She was firing all cylinders, as usual. But Twitter trolls hurtled abuse at the 22-year-old model. After being called a ‘whale’ and ‘huge’, her ego was damaged and was the straw that broke the camels back.
Amy then decided to undergo the treatment at LoveLite clinic in Harley Street. The freezing procedure takes 60 minutes and is meant to reduce fat deposits by up to 59%.
A protective gauze is placed on the chosen body area which is then gently sucked into the treatment head which then slightly heats the skin for five minutes before slowly reducing the skin temperature to minus 2C. This makes the fat cells crystallise and die, and then naturally waste away through the body’s renal system over the next 6-8 weeks.
Straight away, Amy took to Twitter to share how thrilled she was with the treatment. ‘Was so worried about trying #Lipoglaze but it didn’t hurt at all! Yay @LoveLiteUk awesome job can’t wait to track the results x’ she said.
Now the process has finished, Amy claims that she is a lot happier with her size and shape. Debra Robson, director of the LoveLite clinic in Harley Street, says ‘Even super fit girls like Amy have that little bit of fat that just won’t budge, regardless of how much exercise they do.’
it’s all good Amy, you was smoking before and after the treatment.
