Leicester City have got Arsenal fans into a frenzy – on Twitter, of course – after tweeting a picture of their squad without Riyad Mahrez.
The Foxes were attempting to do some pretty standard commercial promotion, but all fans could do was notice the absence of their key player, and promptly shit themselves.
Mahrez was missing from the snap, and with interest from Arsenal and Chelsea intensifying, Leicester fans were fearing the worst.
And, after Adidas released a picture of a Chelsea shirt with ‘Mahrez 7’ on the back, fans went into overdrive on social media.

Arsenal have so far disappointed in the transfer market, only managing to sign Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding and Takuma Asano.
But that didn’t stop them getting giddy on Twitter, as they dreamed of signing the PFA Player of the Year.

What people failed to spot was that Jamie Vardy was also absent, despite signing a new contract earlier this summer.
The England striker was close to joining Arsenal, but turned them down at the last minute and opted to stay at Leicester.
And now, with Chelsea rivalling the Gunners for Mahrez, it could be yet another disappointment for Arsene Wenger.
