A man has been beheaded and at least one other person injured in what is being suspected as an Islamistic attack at a factory in Lyon, France.
Several explosions have also been reported from the scene at the Air Products factory, but it’s suspected that gas canisters were the cause of them.
Anti-terror police have arrested one man, but officials say two men drove a vehicle into the factory carrying a flag with Arabic writing on it.
The attack happened at around 10am local time and it is being said that the decapitated head also had Islamic writing scrawled across it.
The news comes six months after Paris was subject to an Islamist attack in which 17 people were killed.
Security is now being stepped up at ‘sensitive locations’ around France and more specifically, Lyon.
