A little lad who had cancer created a superhero mask to help him get through radiotherapy treatment – and he has now finally beaten the horrible disease.

Harley Renshaw, 5, was diagnosed with cancer in his kidney, neck, lungs and bones – but his Ninja Turtles mask helped him feel stronger during painful treatment.

Now, the brave lad has been given the all clear and we couldn’t be happier for him.

Harley is clearly a determined kid, as he battled on through procedure complications and weeks of intense radiotherapy at The Christie clinic in Manchester.

In fact, he was so brave that doctors at the hospital awarded him one of Cancer Research UK’s Little Star Awards.

His dad, Oliver Renshaw said the family are overjoyed to be told he is finally free of the disease, saying: ‘We’re just really excited and looking forward to the future.’

And we don’t blame them. Awesome story.
