Now THIS is my kind of nightclub!
The first ‘adult soft play’ nightclub has launched in Birmingham, and it sounds ace.
While ‘adult soft play’ sounds like an embarrassing anecdote that you don’t tell your mates, it is in fact a club filled with ball pits, a bouncy castle and space hopper racing. While dancing to drum and bass.
The organisers, Regression Sessions, described the night as “serious music for silly people”, which is right up my street.
Regression Sessions is a night that does what it pleases and suggests you do the same.
We are tired with always having to choose between quality music events rammed with chin-stroking heads, or venues offering unpretentious fun with a disappointing soundtrack.
Our aim is return to you to an earlier stage in the psyche when everything was simple and fun was easy.
We promise to offer regressive experiences from ball pits and plasticine therapy, to surrealist giant knitting and student art exhibitions.
But we are all technically adults, and we say why not program this madness with constant bangers from house, garage, drum and bass, soul, disco.
Everything you could want on a dancefloor.
It sounds amazing. Anybody for a trip there next time?!
