Cheetos popcorn debuted at Cinemacon this year and after going down like a storm (obviously) it seems that it could well become a thing for us mere mortals.
Chester Cheetah, the Cheetos mascot in case you didn’t already know this, handed them out at the event and with the help of Frito-Lay salespeople, realised that a pretty cracking idea could be in the pipeline.
Alexia Allina, a spokesperson for Frito-Lay, gave millions of cinema goers / stoners everywhere hope when she claimed:
As a company, we’re always innovating and testing new product concepts to see what resonates best with our consumers. Cheetos Popcorn is still in the very early development stages. As soon as we have more details to share, we’ll let you know.
