Christoph Waltz has been confirmed to be playing a part in Bond 24. No it’s not a crossover starring Kiefer Sutherland, it just doesn’t have a title yet.
It hasn’t been confirmed exactly who the German-Austrian actor will be portraying, or even whose side he’ll be on, but we know that he will completely smash the role, friend or foe.
The Daily Mail reported: “Someone on the production let slip that the character Waltz has signed up for is ‘extremely cunning’. ‘A nemesis of sorts,’ they continued.”
Does this mean he’ll be a villain? Maybe even Blofeld? We don’t care, as long as he doesn’t shave his beard.
In case you haven’t seen a decent film in the last five years, Waltz has had big parts in Inglourious Basterds, Water for Elephants and Django Unchained.
Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as Bond yet again and has already met with Waltz according to The Daily Mail.
The picture will begin filming early next month and will be shot in Mexico, Austria, Morocco, Italy and London.
