After the success of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill’s collaboration in Wolf of Wall Street, Clint Eastwood wants to jump on the bandwagon and make the duo a trio.
Eastwood wants the duo to be cast in a new film directed by himself, after they impressed him with their roles in the now legendary Wall Street film.
Apparently, the story will be about Richard Jewell, a security guard that was suspected of being a terrorist when a suspicious package was found on him in the 1996 Olympic Games. Jonah Hill will play the security guard and Leonardo will play his lawyer.
The film will be created by Fox, which could be an obstacle for Eastwood as he has loyalty towards Warner Bros. The two production companies are trying to reach some sort of agreement, so they can both co-produce.
It will definitely be anticipated, and if it does materialise, we cannot wait. An Oscar awaiting Leo, perhaps?
