A couple in the U.S recently welcomed their 100th grandchild into the family.
Leo and Ruth Zanger of Quincy, Illinois have been married for 59 years and have an incredible 12 children, 53 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
It was the birth of great-grandson Jaxton Leo on April 8 which made the number of grandkids an even 100.
Speaking to the Quincy Herald-Whig, Ruth said:
The good Lord has just kept sending them. We could start our own town!
If you’re wondering how on earth these two fit everyone around the dinner table at Christmas, they rent a church hall for any family gatherings. It takes 50lbs of ham or ten turkeys to feed everyone!
Oh, and despite the staggering size of their family, the Zangers would be happy for yet more mouths to feed, apparently.
There’s always room for one more.
Good luck putting all of these kids through college!
