We’ve heard of unfriending someone on Facebook, but one woman, Ellanora Baidoo, has taken things even further by asking a court to grant her permission to serve her husband divorce papers over the social media site.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper actually granted the landmark request given the woman could not reach her husband, added to the fact that they had not lived together since the wedding – or consummated it – after arguments about the service and lack of family present broke the duo’s relationship down.

While they wed back in 2009, there has not been any contact between the pair bar via phone or Facebook – and despite the nurse even taking measures to hire a private detective, she still could not get her wayward husband to agree to a divorce.

Husband Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku has still not acknowledged the Facebook request – and is keen on avoiding divorce according to reports.

Safe to say her status will be permanently set to single for the foreseeable future!
