David Cameron obviously thinks he and Barack Obama are pretty close after coming out and saying that the president calls him “bro”.
The two world leaders haven’t always had the best relationship and were no where near as close as Bush and Blair, which is probably a good thing.
But in a recent interview with the Mail on Sunday Cameron said:
The President has said the special relationship is stronger than it has ever been privately and in public and I agree.
Part of me thinks that they aren’t as close as Cameron would like to think, because he’s a total bell end and Obama is actually kind of all right for a politician. But they have been getting closer in the last couple of years or so.
At Nelson Mandela’s funeral in December 2013 the pair took a selfie together, in March 2012 they attended a basketball game together and in 2011 they teamed up against a couple of 16-year-olds for a game of table tennis. A game which they lost.
But part of me likes to think Cameron is that kid in school who tells everyone he’s best mate’s with the hardest in the year. He definitely looks like that kind of guy. Yep, that’s what it is.
