Simon Pegg has inadvertently revealed that Daniel Craig is to cameo in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ as a Stormtrooper.

Pegg accidentally revealed the secret at the premiere of his new movie ‘Man Up’ in London.

There have been plenty of rumours that Pegg will make his own cameo in The Force Awakens.

The 45-year-old is a big Star Wars fan and also worked with the new film’s director JJ Abrams on two Star Trek movies.

Pegg has been spotted on set in Abu Dhabi visiting the director and, when asked to confirm the rumours he would be making an appearance on camera in the seventh Star Wars movie, he let the Daniel Craig information slip.

Pegg said:

I wasn’t a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper. I shouldn’t have said that!

Craig is also said to be a huge Star Wars fan and has long been rumoured to be making an appearance in The Force Awakens.

The James Bond actor’s cameo may well still be kept a secret from audiences though, as Stormtroopers’ faces are usually not seen.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18 and we can’t wait!
