Ed Sheeran has had a good two years. A very, very good years. Now he’s decided to launch his new record label. And it’s called Gingerbread.
The British singer-songwriter made the announcement during his current tour of Australia, and he’s already signed Jamie Lawson, another British singer-songwriter.
The down-to-earth lad hopes to give his artists “the right platform” to success, and we imagine whatever music the label produces will be pretty authentic given Ed’s nature.
So @edsheeran is starting a record label and guess who is first signing is!!!??? It's me!

Speaking about the move, Sheeran told Nova FM:
I’ve set up my first record label, it’s called Gingerbread and Jamie Lawson is my first signing.
I wanted Australia to be the launch pad because Australia is a country that I feel would really really dig Jamie.
