It’s being reported that the co-pilot of Germanwings Flight 9525 locked the captain out of the cockpit then deliberately crashed the plane.

According to a French prosecutor, the captain was intentionally locked out of the cockpit minutes before Airbus A320 plummeted into the French Alps.

The prosecutor in question, Brice Robin, said 28-year-old German co-pilot Andreas Lubitz was silent throughout the plane’s descent and was alive during impact.

These conclusions were discovered by French crash investigators after they discovered the plane’s recovered cockpit recorder.

Weather conditions have improved over the past two days, making the search-and-recovery mission easier.

Hopefully they can now start to piece together what actually happened, and why 150 people lost their lives.
