In theory, this isn’t THAT genius. But in today’s modern society, when most people would rather sit on Twitter all day complaining, this lad is winning.
This is marketing graduate Alfred Ajani, and this morning he stood in London Waterloo station holding up a sign advertising his CV.
And it actually worked.
Company bosses passing through the busy station were clearly impressed and he’s now received multiple interview offers, with one IMMEDIATE one.
Since getting his degree in marketing, the 22-year-old had previously applied for more than 300 jobs to no avail, which is why he took this drastic approach.
Ajani said: ‘I got up early and went to the station. At first people just looked at me but after about ten minutes people starting stopping and talking. They said they’d never seen anything like it before and were really impressed.
‘One woman worked in advertising and took a CV and another guy ran back from his train and said he’d walked past but had started thinking and might have something for me.’
‘I’ve already had some phone calls and have got an interview booked for later today. The support was great, one man even bought me a cup of tea and told me “good luck”.’
Saw this guy at Waterloo getting approached by loads of businessmen. I hope he gets a great job! pic.twitter.com/faN39J83pd
