Al-Qaeda’s head of suicide bombings has been taken out by a US air strike in Afghanistan.
Two other militants were also killed in the strike.
Abu Khalil al-Sudani was a high-ranking member of the terrorist organisation’s inner circle, and was an important member of their Shura council.

His death will be a big blow to the group, especially as it comes so soon after their second-in-command was killed in Yemen last month.
No 72 virgins for them, then.
