While drama and sex scandals usually attract the attention of Celebrity Big Brother viewers everywhere, the stars of series 19 are turning heads for another reason.
According to reports, CBB has bagged the largest ever paid contestant in the show’s history – Kim Kardashian’s ex and sex tape partner Ray J.
The singer has reportedly pocketed an incredible £800,000 – the equivalent of $1million.
As well as the extra large paycheque, the 35 year old will also be given extra cash for his expenses including flights and hotel, Ok! Magazine reports.

Ray J – Series 19, 2017
Ray J – famous for being Brandy’s brother, dating Whitney Houston, and making that infamous sex tape with then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian – is rumoured to be the highest paid contestant in CBB history with a $1 million (£813,000) paycheque.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt – Series 19, 2017
At a rumoured $700k (£569k), Speidi are raking it in for CBB’s 2017 season. The husband and wife duo, known from The Hills, finished runner up in CBB 11 in 2013, the series won by Rylan Clark-Neal.
David Gest – Series 17, 2016
The late music producer and personality, who was paid a whopping $740k, appeared on CBB 17 in 2016 and was involved in one of the show’s most infamous moments: when housemate Tiffany Pollard mistakenly thought he’d died rather than David Bowie. Sadly, he died a few months later.
Katie Price – Series 17, 2016
Price was a surprise entry to the 2016 series of CBB, and ended up winning. She bagged £400k for her appearance.
Katie Hopkins – Series 17, 2016
Finishing runner up to Katie Price, the extremely outspoken columnist was paid £400k for her appearance on the 17th series.
Kellie Maloney – Series 14, 2014
Boxing promoter Kellie Maloney appeared in the 14th series of the show, which was won by US actor Gary Busey. She was also paid £400k.
Janice Dickinson – Series 16, 2015
Janice, who describes herself as the world’s first supermodel, made a late arrival on day two but still bagged $370k (£300k) for her appearance.
