As any commuter will tell you, getting on public transport can be a bit hit and miss. There are those passengers who talk far too loudly because they want everyone wants to hear their conversation, there are those who are a little bit larger than they should be encroaching on your seat, and there are those who skipped their morning shower and don’t exactly give off a pleasant body odor.
The majority of people are polite enough to ignore that and simply wait to get off the bus – but one driver took things to the extreme when a smelly woman stunk up his bus, asking the security man at London Victoria Bus Station:
What do I do here? I’ve got a smelly one on.
As if that wasn’t humiliating enough for the woman, the security man actually took her to a public bathroom and instructed her to clean herself and do the general public a favour by making sure she didn’t smell anymore!
The bus driver then let the now fresh smelling lady back onto said bus and set off again fifteen minutes later.
It does seem pretty harsh, but, let’s be honest… We’ve all sat by that person before, and it can be very grim, especially on a cross country trek. If you haven’t sat near that person, YOU are that person, so be aware that you may be told in future!
Some people may think that the driver was out of order. What do you reckon?
