With summer approaching, holiday season is in full swing. Why not visit war-torn Iraq?
The Ninawa International Hotel has been reopened by ISIS, in Mosul, the second biggest city in Iraq. The five-star setup has a swimming pool and tennis courts, but the bar was destroyed due to Islamic law.
Before ISIS owned it, the Ninawa had good reviews. I’m not sure how the Trip Advisor will look now that it has been taken over, though…
ISIS announced their ownership on their social media outlets, with the intention of showing their control of ‘major, immovable institutions in Iraq’.
However, it’s believed that the ISIS hold in Iraq is in decline, so perhaps that hotel bar will be open again soon, should you fancy a little trip to a warzone, that is.
