Free runner, all-round mad man and friend of UNILAD, James Kingston, is making headlines again today after becoming the first person to climb Wembley Stadium’s legendary arch.
The 24-year-old can usually be seen hanging from ridiculously tall cranes and scaling skyscrapers in London, but his latest endeavour that he was given permission for, makes history. And we can assure you, if this wasn’t a promotional stunt, that safety line would be nowhere in sight!
It was all part of EE’s promotional efforts for their new 4G-enabled Action Cam – a new device that can stream live to the internet without the need for a smartphone or laptop.
Speaking about the achievement, James said:
I’ve dreamt of being on top of the Wembley arch from the day I first laid eyes on it eight years ago when the new stadium opened. It’s such an iconic landmark.
I’ve stood on the top of buildings and structures all over the world, but I’ve never felt more on top of the world than on the top of Wembley arch today.
