“I have lost my baby but I shall create another.”
Jeremy Clarkson finally speaks out after his whirlwind of a year, about the controversy surrounding his Top Gear departure and his plans for the future.
In his column for the Sunday Times he revealed there is no turning back now, he’s left ‘Top Gear’ for good. Clarkson was gutted that his time was up for the BBC2 programme, but he can’t dwell on what has happened.
I have lost my baby but I shall create another. I don’t know who the other parent will be or what the baby will look like, but I cannot sit around any more organising my photograph album.
He rounded up his time on Top Gear by saying:
Let’s stop being silly and pick up the pieces and start again … I just know I’m going to do another car show.
Jeremy also revealed that he was told “probably” had cancer days before the fracas, but since he has been given the all clear, which is great news. We can’t wait to see him on our screens again soon.
