Pirates of The Carribean producer Jerry Bruckheimer took to Twitter to announce Johnny Depp’s return, following an injury last month.
Filming of Pirates 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales was brought to a halt last month, when Depp injured himself – leaving production of the film “minimally impacted”.
But now he’s back to health, he has returned to the set to continue filming, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer is delighted. So much so that he took to Twitter to share the good news and stated “we’re not letting him go”.

Dead Man Tells No Tales is the fifth instalment of Pirates and is due for release in July 2017, five years since On Stranger Tides hit our screens. It’s currently being filmed in Australia with a mammoth budget of $250 million.
Starring alongside Depp is Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom and Kevin McNally. The last film brought in a staggering $1.046 billion, and we can see the upcoming instalment doing something similar.
