David Walliams has reprised his Little Britain character Lou for Comic Relief, but has ditched Matt Lucas for Stephen Hawkins. Red Nose Day will also see the return of Mr Bean and Daniel Craig in a James Bond sketch.

On the 13th March the BBC will air brand-new sketches from comedy classics Little Britain, Mr Bean and Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights. As well as a “special one-off” James Bond sketch, all in aid of Comic Relief.

Stephen Hawkins will appear in the Little Britain sketch, replacing Matt Lucas’ character Andy. As David Walliams will reprise his role as Lou acting as Hawkins’ carer, and will be assisted by Catherine Tate.

Daniel Craig was recently spotted in Rome filming the new Bond movie, as today it’s been announced he’ll be appearing in a one-off stint as part of the Face the Funny feature on the show.

The show will also broadcast Rowan Atkinson’s return as Mr Bean and highlights of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights live show.
