Hacking group ‘Lizard Squad’ gained control of the Malaysia Airlines website today (Mon 26) and redecorated it with a rather strong ‘Plane Not Found’ message.

The site was down for several hours, and during that time, the group unsurprisingly took credit for it. Although, we’re not sure they needed to do so since the message read “404 – Plane Not Found. Hacked by Lizard Squad – Official Cyber Caliphate.”

The airline was quick to respond on Facebook with a statement, claiming that no data – or “loot” – was stolen during the breach.
