The London Fire Brigade are preparing for a surge in calls to emergency services following the release of 50 Shades of Grey this weekend.
It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow, so a phone call to the emergency services from lovers who have had a bit of trouble in the bedroom are to be expected. But this weekend is going to be a bit different.
Why? Oh, only because EVERY SINGLE WOMAN IN THE UK is going to see the 50 Shades of Grey movie. And it’s expected to be pretty steamy, if you don’t already know.
If the trailer – that racked up 50 million views in six months – is anything to go by, it’s going to absolutely smash the box office, and women all over the world are going to be, well, a little flustered?
And when the book was released a few years ago, call-outs involving ‘the removal of objects from people’ or ‘people from objects’ steadily increased year by year alongside the book’s popularity.
So that’s why the London Fire Brigade are gearing up this weekend, as a visual representation of the story is surely going to be more effective. We wish everyone involved the best of luck…
