Gabriel Licina is one creepy dude. Not only did he agree to be the test subject in a pretty new and wacky procedure, he ended up gaining night vision. Yeah, that’s right. Superhero-like night vision.

Said wacky procedure was performed by Science for the Masses – which sounds more like a cult than anything to do with medicine – and involved him having Ce6, a light sensitive substance dripped into his eyes and then being taken into some dark woods to test it out.

The idea was to allow Licina to have night vision and be able to see in the dark – and the creepy experiment did not disappoint, after the trip to the woods revealed he could now see up to 50m in pitch black.
