Some people really do NOT want to be late for work.

This is the kind of story that pops up now and then, and is completely daft, sounds fake, but is seriously funny.

James Campbell was driving along a high-occupancy vehicle lane in New York, which is solely for use by cars with more than one person in them. It was 6.30am and his pick up truck got pulled, because police were suspicious.

And rightly so. He didn’t have a mate in the car… He had some planks of wood in a hoodie. He told police that he had just started a new job and didn’t want to be late.

Top points for effort. Brilliant work, kind of.
