This is the Dutch cyclist who has cheated death not one, but twice, after last minute plans to avoid flying on the doomed MH370 and MH17.

Maarten de Jonge was booked on the flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur but swapped his departure date.

Hours later it was shot down over the Ukraine – killing all 298 people on-board.

The lucky escape wasn’t his first though. Unbelievably he was booked on Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 that crashed into the Indian Ocean and is still missing.

He flew an hour earlier instead.

This is one lucky man.
