Fundraiser Stuart Kettell is about to push a Brussel sprout to the very top of Mount Snowden, for Cancer Research.
The father of three takes raising money for Macmillan Cancer Research very seriously, and this is his hardest task yet.
When debating what to do next, his pal accidently came up with the idea.
‘My friend said to me ‘‘What are you going to do next? Push a pea up Snowdon?’ said the 49-year-old.
‘And I thought ‘‘That’s a great idea’’. Obviously a pea is a little too small so I’ve chosen to use a sprout instead.’
He has limbered up for the 1,066m (3,500ft) Welsh peak by pushing a sprout around his garden in Coventry.
‘The hardest part for me will probably be the back pain of being crouched over for that length of time,’ he added.
In previous challenges Mr Kettell has raised £41,000 for Macmillan Cancer Research. It is a charity he has supported since they helped an old school friend. He begins his challenge on July 30.
