A man was arrested today after dousing himself in petrol and threatening to set himself on fire outside the BBC’s office in central London.

The man poured petrol on himself and began waving a lighter around before shouting a tirade of abuse towards the Broadcasting House where Radio 1 is based.

Reports say that police shouted at a woman who attempted to light a cigarette outside the building during the commotion.

The cast of the Entourage movie alongside football legend Thierry Henry were waiting in a van outside the building while police cordoned off the area.

Firefighters arrived on the scene, but there was no fire and/or injuries.

We’re assuming the troubled fella was a Top Gear fan, and had heard the recent news about Richard Hammond and James May. But don’t take our word for it.
