A man brandishing a PHOTO of a gun threatened to kill staff with it at a Tesco near Cambridge.
Officers were called soon after the man walked into the supermarket and told everyone he was going to kill them, while brandishing a photo of a firearm.
The incident happened at 1am at a Tesco Extra in Viking Way, Bar Hill, which opens for 24 hours on Wednesdays.
They arrested the man on suspicion of threats to kill. He was released on police bail to return to Parkside police station in Cambridge in January, 2015.
A police report said: “There have been two crime reports at Tesco Bar Hill this week. One crime relates to theft of fuel and the other relates to threats made against a member of staff. Suspect making these threats has been arrested and dealt with accordingly.”
