A pre-order copy of Fallout 4 will set you back $60 – but this is far too much for one fan.
So much so, that Imgur user GatorMacheteJr has been saving up bottlecaps for it since the release of Fallout 3 in 2008.
For those who don’t know, bottlecaps are the main currency in the Fallout universe, and Gator, real name Seth, has managed to collect over 2000 of them.
Seth sent a letter to Bethesda offering a trade for said bottlecaps and mailed it along with every single cap he’d collected over the years. If Seth had this many bottlecaps in the actual game, he’d have around $800 in currency – so we reckon he at least deserves the basic version of the game – if not the special edition!
So far there hasn’t been a response from Bethesda, but we reckon there is one on the horizon. They treat their fans well, and Seth has definitely earned his trade!
