Being a thief is never going to be the most secure of career options, with the risk of prison and all, but one dude probably didn’t expect to encounter quite the resistance he did after hit up a bike shop – next to a Krav Maga class.
David Menzies saw his plan to rob the bike store go to hell in a handbasket when he broke the window of the shop and loaded up his car with $15,000 of bike merch, only to be spotted by the Krav Maga members as he did it. Menzies was then confronted by the co-owner of the Krav Maga business, Jason Carrio, and after being told the police had been called, tried to make a break for it to his car – only to be taken down by Carrio, in true Krav Maga style.
Moral of the story kids? Do your research properly if you want to rob a business. Or, you know, stay in school.
