It’s already practically impossible to get tickets for the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas. So it’s no surprise that it has been announced that the fight will generate around $74 million in ticket sales alone.
The epic showdown was originally expected to generate around $50 million from ticket sales, but now that sum has been increased to a whopping $74 million with the high demand shifting over 15,000 tickets so far.
Over the next 7 days a small handful of tickets will be made available to the general public, although you’d have to be pretty rich to afford them. Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum stated the demand has been “mania” and that the ticket prices have gone up, selling for anything between $1,500 – $7,500.
After almost six years in the making, the fight is eagerly anticipated, and everyone wants to be there to witness it – Vegas will be an absolute no go zone over that weekend.
