Michael McIntyre had to storm off stage in Darlington during a gig this week after a woman refused to stop using her mobile phone in the front row.
After failing to get the woman to stop using the phone, he told security staff to “sort it out” before storming off and came back when the dust had settled.
While he was off stage, audience members continued to chant for her to be removed, but security staff managed to speak to her and “calm her down”.
The woman had been talking loudly on the phone and not caring about the noise she was creating. Michael heard her and interrupted by saying: “Excuse me, am I interrupting your talk?” to which she shouted back: “Yes, I was talking to my nice”.
Michael came back on to the stage when the incident was resolved and got through his set with the woman still sat there. That must of been awkward.
