A British parent feared the worst after their toddler damaged a neighbour’s car door. Especially when they got an invoice for £1,838.

The honest parent owned up after their kid hit their neighbour’s door when opening their own, which is rather admirable these days, as so many people wouldn’t.

The unnamed Facebook user said:

My silly 3 year old accidentally hit a neighbour’s car last week when opening his door.

We admitted it at the time and told the owner we’d pay for the repair (cheaper than going through insurance).

Chased him up today and got this invoice… Wow such wonderful people xx

The note adds up the cost of repairing the door, and cheekily throws on money for cups of tea and biscuits, before throwing in the ‘NO CHARGE!’ at the bottom, adding ‘These things happen.’

All that they want in return is tat they keep their parcels when they aren’t there… An offer I imagine the parent snapped up!
