In 2014, a lot of weird apps came out. Spin offs of Tinder, mainly. But this one I just don’t know what to make of.

‘Pplkpr’ or ‘People Keeper’ if you’re a normal person, is an app that basically tells you which friends you like and which friends you don’t like. Because, apparently, your mind doesn’t work anymore.

But wait, this isn’t JUST an app. It also comes with a wristband that definitely does not make you look like a bit of a tool.

Pplkpr links up with said wristband which uses a heart rate monitor to track how you feel when meeting people, then, using an algorithm and some manual self-reporting, ranks people according to how happy or angry they made you.

However, it will also tell you who arouses you the most, which is the most important preference, right? Or is it? Maybe you don’t need an app for that. I just don’t know anymore.

What’s even more outrageous is that it will text or tweet people you like the most or ‘should hang out with more’. Brilliant.

So now, basically, your phone will handle your social life automatically. And probably ruin it. If you buy this, you’re a donut. (Although I am intrigued by it – a lot).
