It’s a pretty obvious statement.. Exercise makes you better in bed. But this new study delves a bit deeper, and it’s good news for most guys.
Basically, the study by Journal of Sexual Medicine indicates that men who regularly work out will receive a variety of benefits in their sex lives. Still a little obvious, so let’s get into it a bit more.
The study examined the sexual function of almost 300 healthy men – who reported their findings through a questionnaire – and found that those who regularly worked out had the biggest advantage in the bedroom. I’m still being massively obvious here, but we’ll get there.
Adriana Vidal, senior author of the study, stated:
This study is the first to link the benefits of exercise in relation to improved erectile and sexual function in a racially diverse group of patients.
So, basically, if you exercise regularly, your quality and frequency of erections will increase. The study also found that those who work out and are in shape have more sensitive orgasms.
However, it’s not just men that benefit. A study from 2004 highlighted that women who visit the gym 2-3 times per week, experience an increase in their sex drive due to the endorphins released during their work out, and confidence gained from improving their figure.
So there it is, a little self explanatory, but a sharp reminder that will hopefully transform itself into some positive motivation. Now, where are my shorts…
