The only thing that has topped Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear mania in the last few weeks has to be the General Election, so it makes sense that the two have now collided.
After seeing his party’s defeat to the Tories and Labour and losing his own seat, Ukip leader Nigel Farage has now been tipped as the man to replace Jeremey Clarkson on the BBC show as the main presenter. And William Hill are even offering odds of 16/1 on it. Oh, and you can also get odds of 10/1 for him to join Strictly Come Dancing.
It’s when Ed Milliband is tipped to become the new member of One Direction that you know we really do live in a f*cked up world.
Still, even though it’s highly unlikely, Farage is actually a great fit for Top Gear. He’d get my vote.
