The head chef at the William IV pub in North London is about to make hundreds of homeless people happy over the 2014 Christmas period after offering free cooked Christmas dinners to them.
Since posting the photo online through the pub’s Twitter account, kind-hearted Adam Hardiman has received countless offers of help from the public.
“I was having a quiet Sunday and I was fed up. I thought I would rather do this for people that really need it.
He went on to explain how he probably would have ended up on the streets too, if it wasn’t for his mum, and now he wants to give some Christmas cheer to those less fortunate than him.
Adam hopes other pubs will follow suit once they see what he is doing, so that more and more homeless people can enjoy a hot dinner during a time where hundreds of thousands of people spend time with their families and eat good food.
Himself and pub manager Max Kalton asked their staff if they wouldn’t mind helping out on the sunday, handing out the free dinners, and not one of them refused.
Our hats are off to all involved!
