ITV telly host and all round corny legend Paddy McGuinness has high hopes for a gay version of his hit dating show Take Me Out.
Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, he stated that he’s been asking the team on the show if they will commission a series that will only feature gay contestants.
Since its launch in 2010 the show has become a primetime heavyweight for ITV on Saturday nights and we imagine Paddy has some pull behind the scenes.
Speaking on the chat show he said:
I have asked about a gay version. We have done an OAP special and a celebrity special.
I have also asked about a reality TV special. It is in the mix. It is up to the powers that be.
We’ve had two weddings, four engagements and two children born from the show. And we’ve only been on five years. I love doing it.
Tune in to ITV1 at 9.20pm tomorrow to see his interview with Jonathan.
