Normally when a team get a new mascot, fans notice, maybe make a comment to a fellow supporter, and move on.
That is unless the football club you support is Partick Thistle, who have unveiled their new mascot, Kingsley, who replaces Jaggy MacBee, and Kingsley quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons, with fans everywhere wondering what the hell the club were thinking with such a bizarre choice of mascot.

You can follow him on Twitter @ThistleMascot, depending on how long he lasts of course, and he seems quite proud of his new look if his tweets are anything to go by.
Other Twitter users meanwhile were a little less enthusiastic.

Hard to disagree really isn’t it. Let’s just hope there aren’t too many kids going to watch them next season, because they will be having one hell of a nightmare and not because of the players on the field.
