Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 Passenger On Flight MH17 Joked About It Going Missing Before It Was Shot Down

A Dutch man joked on social media about his Malaysian Airlines flight ‘going missing’ before the plane was shot down over the Ukraine.

The man, who’s name has been withheld, posted a picture of flight MH17 before boarding with the caption: ‘If we disappear, this is what the plane looks like.’

The post was referencing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, that vanished on March 8th and is still missing.

But tragically, just 7 hours later, MH17 was shot down on its way to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam over eastern Ukraine, and based on his Facebook post, it is feared he was on board the jetliner.

The comments start off as you expect, with friends and family wishing him well on his upcoming vacation..

However, they quickly take a turn for the worst..

Another adds: ‘People have been known to survive these but it doesn’t look good.’

Several RIP messages soon followed.

This is the first heartbreaking story to come out of the tragedy, and we’re sure there will be many more to hit social media as the situation continues.
