Samsung are rumoured to be releasing the new version of their flagship phone this year. The Galaxy S6 is reportedly going to be revealed at some point this weekend, but in typical internet fashion, it’s apparently already been leaked.
We say apparently, because we can’t confirm or deny whether these leaks are real. But they do look pretty damn legit, and correspond with the fact that Samsung are supposed to be releasing a new S6 with a curved screen called the ‘Edge’.
Photos leaked on the XDA-Developers forum this morning show a new sleek, slimline handset that looks to have the 5.1-inch screen and new glass back previously confirmed to be coming in the new additions.
According to reports by Ars Technica, the Galaxy S6 Edge will cost $1191 (around £770), while the standard 128GB S6 will set you back $1077 (around £700). Obviously, prices will dip depending on how much GB you opt for.
Both models are also expected to be equipped with wireless charging capabilities. So yeah, there’s that too.
Again, we can’t confirm anything, but the world should know what the deal is by weekend. And one thing is for sure, this thing will probably eat up the market again – especially after Apple’s disaster last year.
