Policeman Richard Evans has lost his job with the force after being accused of having sex with female suspects locked in cells – and racking up a massive 41 complaints.

Said complaints were amassed over a five year period, and the perverted former officer was cleared by courts after being accused of fondling a female suspect’s breasts, but the Gwent police department in South Wales took action after deciding 41 complaints – 32 of which were of a sexual nature – warranted dismissal.

The 46 year old had clocked up 25 years experience on the force and had even made it to the rank of sergeant before his sacking.

An internal misconduct hearing found him guilty of gross misconduct and Detective Chief Constable Craig Gilford claimed:

He failed to treat them with courtesy and respect, and failed to have regard to the equality and diversity duty in the workplace.

His immediate dismissal was the only appropriate course of action.

The police officers, police staff members and members of the public who provided accounts and came to the hearing to give evidence demonstrated admirable courage, dignity and integrity.

Evans was not only dismissed for the way he treated female suspects but also other female officers on the force.
