President Obama shut down a heckler then had her removed from the room during an LGBT speech at the White House this week.
The U.S. president was delivering an address at a reception in the presidential home on Wednesday night when a transsexual Mexican woman began to shout at him across the room.
The speech was regarding civil rights for lesbian, gay and transsexual Americans, but Jennicet Gutiérrez had another (pre-planned) agenda. The woman, who is rumoured to have been a plus-one, yelled at the president to close deportation centres.
Gutiérrez claimed that she was an undocumented immigrant and trans woman who is ‘tired of the abuse’ immigration officials are allegedly carrying out on minorities.
And when asked to stop by Obama, and didn’t, things turned sour. “Hold on a second I – OK, you know what? No no no no no. You’re in my house.”
The woman continued to hurl her orders at the man in charge, until he had no choice but to have her removed from the reception by security…
